More than 40 films by graduate students at Columbia University’s School of the Arts will be presented during the 16th annual Columbia University Film Festival. Screenings will be held at 5:15 p.m. and 8:15 p.m., Monday, April 28, through Thursday, May 1, at the Loews 34th Street. Films selected by the School of the Arts faculty as the best of this year’s festival will be featured at a special screening on Monday, May 5, at 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., at Loews 34th Street. Staged readings of excerpts of these “Faculty Selects” screenplays will be offered on Friday, May 9, at 7:30 p.m. at the McGraw-Hill Theater, 1221 Avenue of the Americas at 49th Street.
On June 2 and 3, the Columbia University Film Festival heads to L.A., with film screenings at the SilverScreen Theater at the Pacific Design Center and the Kodak Screening Room.

Tickets for the 2003 Columbia Film Festival are now on sale!
There are two ways to purchase tickets:
1.) By visiting the Loews box office located on 34th street between 8th and 9th avenues
2.) By logging onto www.fandango.com. Instructions for using Fandango: Once you have logged onto fandango, search by zip code and enter the following: 10001. This will bring up the 34th street theater. Next you must select the date you wish to buy tickets for. Check our website (under info and films) for the correct schedules. Select the correct program and time to purchase tickets.
Tickets for the Faculty Selects screenings on May 5 have not yet gone on sale.
To purchase tickets for the screenplay readings on May 9th, rsvp to 212.854.1547.

Tickets go on sale April 21st for all film and screenplay programs. Tickets for the film programs can be purchased at the Loews 34th Street box office with cash or credit card or online at www.fandango.com . Tickets for the screenplay reading can be reserved by calling (212) 854-1547. Admission to all programs is $10.
Admission to the Industry Screenings at the Kodak Screening Room is free of charge, but seating is limited. Please RSVP to the festival office.
