Directors Bio:
Maya Anand was born and raised in New York. After receiving her B.A. in English Literature from Harvard University in 2003, Maya remained in Cambridge, Massachusetts to study filmmaking with director Hal Hartley. In 2004 she returned to New York and worked for producer Robert Greenhut on several feature films in New York, including Sidney Lumet's "Find Me Guilty" and Kirsten Sheridan's "August Rush." She is currently pursuing her M.F.A. at the Film Division of the Columbia School of the Arts.
