Directors Bio:

Apryl Richards is a screenwriter, director and visiting film/video professor at the University of Washington in the Center for Digital Art and Experimental Media (DXARTS). Apryl's film credits include art direction on several award winning short films and the feature, “The Brand Upon the Brain,” directed by Guy Maddin. As the director of youth programs at the Maysles Institute she developed curriculum for a summer film program for at-risk children in Harlem and has recently taught a documentary workshop in Iceland with National Geographic Student Expeditions.
