Directors Bio: J.J. is an MFA candidate at Columbia University. She is also the director and a founding creative at The Onion’s The Onion News Network. Her 2007 short documentary “Unattached” garnered numerous awards including a 2008 Student Academy Award for Best Documentary, a jury prize at the 2007 Palm Springs International Festival of Short Films, and a non-fiction filmmaking Development Grant from A&E IndieFilms. It can be seen on the Documentary Channel through 2010. In addition to her work at The Onion, J.J. is currently developing a feature script and a TV series. |
