Directors Bio: Her background in painting, drawing, and photography has influenced Nikki as a filmmaker. Her creative roots are in Baltimore, MD/Washington D.C., but she learned the ropes in LA working on music videos and commercials. Narrative filmmaking is her focus, and her work has gotten the attention of ABC-Disney Talent Development Group, New York Women in Film & Television, the NFAA, and the NAACP (ACT-SO). "Out of the Darkness" is Nikki's thesis film.
