Directors Bio:

Ambarish Manepalli was born in India, and has spent much of his life in America. His film “Ismael” was awarded Faculty Honors and Best Film Under 12 Minutes at the 2007 Columbia University Film Festival. He was the recipient of the 2007 HBO Young Producer's Fund for the short film, “The Other Way Round,” directed by Geoffrey Quan. His most recent project “Chassé Croisé,” was a collaboration with the graduate students of La fémis, France's national film school. He is currently preparing a documentary and is working on several ideas for French co-production.
